Sadly, on February 16th of this year, we suddenly lost our beloved Border Collie Hannah. She suffered many years with unexplainable seizures, that continued to get worse over the last several months, and despite our attempts and the vet's, we simply could not save her this last time. We rescued Hannah from Rochester Animal Services on April 7th, 2000 at only 5 months old. She was found abandoned in a junk yard in the city and was extremely shy and unsocialized. After many, many months of patience, training, trust and reassurance, Hannah blossomed into a wonderful companion. She kept our labs in line, herded the cats like a pro and greeted us with happiness and exuberance, every morning for almost 9 years. She rarely missed a beat, right up until her last day - despite the seizures. For that I am thankful.

We'll always miss you Hannah. Thank you for teaching us so many lessons about love, patience, perserverence (dog training, behavior and wonderful, wonderful Border Collies) and trust. Together, we gained confidence and learned how to have true and bounding fun. Go BooBoo, go!
